All participants will have a permission slip and liability release form signed by their parents and approval by a physician.  Physical examinations are required of each student.

The eligibility for extra-curricular activities will be:  students must have a passing grade in all classes in which they are enrolled to be eligible to participate in contests.  Weekly eligibility will be based on a seven day, or one week (Wednesday through Tuesday) period.  A list of students not receiving a passing grade will be compiled on Tuesday morning of each week, with the exception of the first two weeks of a new quarter.  The first two weeks of each quarter are a grade establishment period.  All students will be eligible during these two weeks if they are meeting the M.H.S.A. requirement of passing 20 hours of course work per semester.  There is no carry over of grades from one quarter to the next.  Students reported to have a failing grade in one, or more classes, beginning the third week of the quarter will be ineligible on the Wednesday through and including the following Tuesday.  It will be the responsibility of the teacher assigning the failing grade and the coach/sponsor of the activity in which the student is participating in to notify the student of the ineligibility.

Coaches are encouraged to have ineligible students use practice time for study hall until they become eligible.  If a student is on the ineligible list for three consecutive weeks, they will be dismissed from the team for the remainder of the season.

All participants will comply with the rules and regulations established by the Montana High School Association, the coach/sponsor, the administration, and Reed Point or Rapelje Board of Trustees.  These rules and regulations (unless verbal) are published in the M.H.S.A . Handbook, the Student Handbook and the Board Policy.
